A Dreamy Morning at the Japanese Gardens: Jad & Loana’s Moon Bridge Proposal

There is something profoundly poetic about an April morning in North Texas. The air is crisp, the greenery is waking up, and the light—softened by a blanket of clouds—creates the perfect natural studio for a life-changing moment.

This past April, I had the honor of witnessing Jad and Loana’s beautiful surprise proposal at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. Despite the chilly breeze, the warmth between these two was unmistakable from the moment they stepped onto the grounds.

The Perfect Setting: The Moon Bridge

The Japanese Garden within the Fort Worth Botanic Garden is a sanctuary of peace, but its most iconic feature is undoubtedly the Moon Bridge. With its high wooden arch reflecting perfectly in the koi-filled waters below, it served as the ultimate stage for Jad’s big question.

As they reached the crest of the bridge, Jad dropped to one knee. Surrounded by the quiet rustle of spring leaves and the serene landscape, Loana’s surprise was absolute. In the quiet of that cloudy morning, she said yes.

Elegant Details & Timeless Style

The couple opted for a classic, sophisticated look that popped beautifully against the lush spring backdrop:

  • The Attire: Both Jad and Loana wore coordinated black outfits, lending a timeless, editorial feel to the session.

  • The Ring: A breathtaking marquise-cut diamond set on a delicate gold band. It is a stunning piece that perfectly reflects Loana’s elegant style.

  • The Atmosphere: The overcast sky acted as a giant softbox, highlighting the rich textures of the Japanese maples, bamboo groves, and stone pathways without any harsh shadows.

Wandering through the Garden

After the "Yes," we spent the morning exploring the hidden corners of the gardens. From the towering bamboo forests to the stone bridges and blooming dogwoods, every turn offered a new way to celebrate their engagement.

Watching Jad and Loana together, it’s clear they share a deep connection. Whether they were sharing a quiet kiss under the trees or admiring the new sparkle on Loana’s hand, the joy was radiant.

"A proposal is more than just a question; it’s the beginning of a new chapter. Capturing that transition at the Japanese Gardens was truly a highlight of the spring season."

Congratulations to the Happy Couple!

Jad and Loana, thank you for allowing me to document such a pivotal moment in your lives. May your journey toward marriage be as beautiful and serene as that April morning on the Moon Bridge.
