An October Dream: Olga and Jonathan’s Rust-Toned Wedding at Chandelier Farms

There is something truly magical about October in North Texas. The light softens, the air loses that summer bite, and at Chandelier Farms in Terrell, the golden hour feels like it was designed specifically for wedding portraits.

When Olga and Jonathan reached out about their fall celebration, I knew the aesthetic was going to be top-tier. They perfectly balanced the crisp, clean architecture of the venue with a warm, soulful color palette of rust, terracotta, and burnt orange.

The Ceremony at the White Chapel

The day began at the venue’s iconic white chapel, a minimalist masterpiece that allows a couple’s personal style to truly shine. Olga was a vision in her strapless lace-detailed gown, which looked breathtaking against the bright white architecture. One of the most striking moments was seeing her dress framed by the tall, open double doors of the chapel—a shot that perfectly captured the anticipation of the ceremony. After exchanging vows in the airy, sun-drenched interior, the newlyweds made their grand exit. Jonathan, looking sharp in a tan suit with a bold orange tie, shared a spectacular dip-kiss with his new bride that had the whole room cheering.

A Palette Inspired by the Season

What made this wedding stand out was the intentionality behind the color choices. The bridesmaids wore flowing rust-toned dresses that provided a rich, warm contrast to the bright Texas sky and the white siding of the farm. The floral arrangements followed suit, featuring a lush mix of peach and deep orange roses accented with eucalyptus and baby’s breath. Even the reception details felt perfectly curated, from the two-tier white cake decorated with fall-toned blooms to the whimsical "just married" car topper that added a touch of personality to the dessert table.

Golden Hour Under the Oaks

As the sun began to set, we headed out into the expansive fields that surround Chandelier Farms. The golden hour light in Terrell is legendary, especially when it filters through the massive, ancient oak trees on the property. Olga and Jonathan took a quiet stroll down the path, the long train of her veil catching the light as they shared their first moments as husband and wife. The joy of the bridal party was infectious as they celebrated under the trees, tossing bouquets in the air and soaking in the final glow of an incredible October day.

Congratulations to the Newlyweds

It was an absolute honor to document this chapter of Olga and Jonathan’s story. Their day was a masterclass in how to lean into a seasonal theme while keeping the overall vibe sophisticated and romantic. From the quiet moments in the chapel to the sun-soaked portraits in the grass, every second was a reflection of the beautiful life they are building together.

If Olga and Jonathan’s autumnal celebration has you dreaming of your own golden hour gallery, I would love to help bring that vision to life. Capturing these fleeting, sun-drenched moments is what I do best—whether you’re planning a quiet chapel ceremony or a grand party under the oaks.
